Windows Embedded Standard 7
Windows Embedded Standard 7 is a modular, scalable version of Windows 7. Single components are combined into easily selectable Feature Packs. Using the "Image Configuration Editor" (ICE) on the Toolkit-DVD, you can create images based on standard templates. These images consists of an "Embedded Core" and several, optional "Feature Packages", "Language Packages", "Embedded Enabling Features" and "Driver Packages" for your hardware.
As an alternative, you can use the "Image Builder Wizard"-DVD (IBW) on your target system to install a "Windows Embedded Standard 7". The installation is quite similar to an installation of a standard "Windows 7 Ultimate". This allows you to quickly get a prototype for early testing.
You can add "Embedded Enabling Features" for a robust system:
- Bootable Windows USB Stack
- Custom Shell
- Enhanced Write Filter
- HORM (Hibernate Once/Resume Many)
- File-Based Write Filter (FBWF)
- Registry Filter
- Web Services on Devices for .NET

We can help you integrating "Windows Embedded Standard 7" on your hardware platform. In Training Sessions, we can show you how to configure WES7, how to create images and how to deploy them on your devices. If necessary, we may help you to create missing device drivers or applications.
In the past, we have been involved in several projects with the family members "Windows Embedded XP" and WEPOS / POSReady.
