Welcome to Pfaadt Software, a specialist for software developments for embedded computers. Here you can find support for your developments based on Windows Embedded Compact 7 (Windows CE) and Windows Embedded Standard 7. We can adapt entire operating systems to your specific hardware and we can also build custom drivers for you.
Modern embedded processors contain lots of different functionalities and the complexity of embedded processors are constantly increasing. E.g. the reference manual for the FreeScale iMX51 contains 63 chapters and more than 4000 pages. We are working in the embedded market since the mid of the 90s and have been working with embedded controllers from different manufacturers, amongst others Samsung, FreeScale, Marvell, Atmel and Hitachi. As technical software engineers, we have been trained to work closely with hardware engineers and have the fundamental skills to understand such manuals and even schematics.
On the following pages you can find some existing drivers and solutions, that might be useful in your Windows CE projects. For example, we offer a CAN driver for several controllers and a programming tool to update Windows CE images in flash memory. If you should need other types of drivers, we might be able to provide help.
